After upgrading to 7.5.2 today I started noticing "static pops" in
high-res tracks and while the player changed tracks. I used to hear a
similar "pop" when the DAC would go from 44.1/16 to 96/24, but this was
now while music was playing. I began to wonder if it was the new
firmware version 81.

While it's a fun hobby, the letdowns are huge. Preventative is best by
tempering enthusiasm with a daily dose of reality. There are good
doc
and the stuffs they are trying to peddle from lessloss.com to know who
they are. As the old saying goes: Salesmanship is the art of making you
laugh while ripping you off blind. Be afraid...very afraid!

Not quite sure where you get that from, each bit is worth approx 6

Any opinions from those who have tried the switch from the Touch to the
Bridge? I'm still using my Touch as a source, running in through the

Oh make sure that they are 2ch 24/96 files if you bought 5.1 files you

Almost all of my FLACs are encoded at -8 and the rest at -5 - never had
a problem on the Touch. Now running a 7.6 beta, but was also OK with
7.5.x
Good luck...

Hi all,
I tried several times to install de Inguz equaliser on my mac. I am
running the latest software of squeezeserver.
Installation went fine, i see the EQ screen but it won't work, because
i cannot change the FLAC filetype to Inguz. The choice is greyed out
and not available. Tried a lot of

In around 50% of cases, when I try to play a Flac file encoded at 24/96
the transporter crashes with "ran out of decoder data memory". I have
had some success in reconverting the files to Flac -0 (least
compression), but this seems to be a recurring issue. Anyone got any
ideas - apparently I canno
