Reachpeng, I have used XLRs wired into a Y configuration (as distinct from a Y splitter with XLR connectors) and I believe it doesn't degrade the signal. This means for each channel two XLR cables are wired at one end into a single connector. Bit of a squeeze but my dealer was able to do it. This
