Dear Klaus,
I've been using the TT2.0 and loved it. Switched to TT3.0 and liked the
change at first, but found it to be not as enjoyable a tweak as the
previous.
After reading his remark, it was easy for me to agree with SBGK hopes
for "the sound of TT2.0" and "the fidelity of TT3.0": while I wa

(re-)setting my buffer to 4000. I lost all the "refinement" and detail
the BDA-1 DAC is capable of. Sounded kinda low-buck, if you know what I
mean, flat and deadishly uninspiring lol. But no fuzziness like I had

I have had a similar experience. Here is what happened with me.
I entered the latest SBGK values into TT with a buffer size of 3200.
As usual better bass and midrange but same hashy/wet lower treble and
slight congestion across the soundstage that has always been with me
for TT3, but not TT2 with

Hi
An update from my Touch setup... I have been using the Touch and
soundcheck's mod for some time now.
But I have now been running on SBGK settings for about 3-4 days and i'm
loving the sound... all the details from TT 3.0 with a more analog
sound... and i don't have any fuzziness :-)
My setup is
See sig below.
If you have, or plan to use,a subwoofer, consider the DSpeaker Antimode
8033.
IMO an indispensable device for taming room modes.

Hmmm. . . Strange.
Have been listening for two evenings with the same mods and have not
noticed the issue you mention.
Does not seem network related, as you're Ethernet

Just some comments on SBGK's priority settings. I am running TT3.0 in
otherwise stock config. Touch has the usual accoutrements, linear PS,
coaxial output to BDA-1 DAC, balanced into analog preamp, wired
ethernet, iPeng, etc. I cut and pasted SBGK's mods from his post on p48

Ok, since this thread is necromanc'd, I'll throw in my system, which is
probably more of a Hi-Fi system than an audiophile one.

integrated amp -> sturdy speaker cables -> Audiovector M1 Signature
