hdmi cable from my pc to my avr for movies and using jriver media center
to do it, of course it will do music also, now is there any differences

Thanks Phil for staying on this with me.
Actually I'm using the Transporter not the Touch, anyway I'll work
through your suggestions and post back over the weekend, it seems this
hasn't happened to anyone else, however I guess it's good for this to
go down in the archives.
Thanks

the problem is.. I don't really *care* what the designer prefers,
listening wise..so designing by his ear solely is useless

Nope. If there is absolutely no content above a certain f, any sampling
rate of 2*f or over will reconstruct the exact same signal. Sampling
theory proves that a correctly executed (=filtered before and after)
sampling conversion system is indistinguishable from a lowpass filt

Interesting. I went back to stock in two key areas; priority and kernel
mods, and closer to stock in the third; buffer size - so TT3.0 = 3400,
Logitech = 2, and I like 12800. The buffer size makes a
significant difference to bass notes using the internal DAC. The only
way to disable the firs

Have you tried applying the changes to custom convert etc which Phil
suggested ie the files he posted on the earlier inguz file.
And have you tried play
Not to hijack this thread but can anyone point me to where I can find
the files for Impulses and MatrixImpulse? I managed to get Inguz up and
running on my Linux system running sbs 7.6.2 but I do not have any of
the wav files to play with before a start making one myself.
Thanks.
