Hi, Gary. If someone is after a neutral sounding DAC it's the equal of
the Metric Halo ULN-8, which I used to run, which many believe is state
of the art for neutrality.

I just finished test driving a NAD M51 DAC and it's phenomenal. Very
neutral sounding with no harshness at all. Proper bass with open and
realistic soundstaging. It sends out the signal undisturbed. You feed it
great material and life is very good.
I also ran it in preamp mode using its digital

Yes, many netbooks employ 2.5" drives. Not sure how many come with 1 TB
though. You'd likely have to buy a 1 TB drive separate and install after
the fact.
These days you can grab name brand netbooks for under $200 that are not
only whisper quiet and non obtrusive but which also easily run LMS. I
use a couple of Acer's in dedicated applications and couldn't be
happier.

Guys, keep changing all those font and language settings and you'll end
up with something that sounds exactly like vinyl (to be sure no foul
play . uninstall iZotope Vinyl in case 1 of those font/language
setting changes causes it to run in the background on you).
Ya'll know what'll happen t

Check the free downloads available at this site for quick and easy

sound can be spectacular once then there is no reason it can't be so all
of the time.

and which don't seem to suffer any unexpected loud noise issues because
