I'm just wondering if anyone has done a direct comparison between the Nuforce 9.02 and the Bel Canto Ref 1000? Or, perhaps, is someone at least familiar enough with them in similar systems to comment?
I ask because my "travelling" amps, at this point, will be my Nuforces. They make a nice team with the Transporter: small, light, and great sounding. Thing is, I have some quibbles with QC from Nuforce. I have had much more experience with Bel Canto and know the folks there -- top notch service, intelligent design, and I've always liked there gear. However, I haven't heard the Ref1000s and there isn't a dealer with a set in my area. Why is this important? Because I need amps that will run on US and European current. Otherwise, I'd just lug a hundred pounds of McIntosh and call it good. -- highdudgeon Relax.
