I auditioned the new Primare I32, but did not quite like the sound of
the treble with string instruments. So I took a floor sample of the
older I30 home and I'm liking it a lot so far. The bass on a track like

Look at a pair of active monitors. The Genelec monitors are well
engineered. That way you are not tempted to spend more money on
cables, preamp, speaker cables etc...etc

I'd also like to recommend Rogue gear, but I don't know how it will
handle that impedance curve.
Here are the Stereophile measurements of the 100v3's impedance:

@garym, You're the second person to suggest Parasound A21 and this seems
a good suggestion. However, I don't like the idea of the P3 to go with
it, as it is too noisy in my opinion.
@earwaxer: ICEpower is definitely under consideration, but I would want

Imo fixing one error by introducing another one is not so good.

dsdreamer - The irritating and shrill highs you are explaining may not
be most easily solved from the amp side of the equation. I know, when
you start substituting "eye of neut" for ground beef its hard to know
what the outcome will be. Not everyone is up for the challenge. For my

struggled finding an amp the didn't sound too bright--I lived in fear
of that metal tweeter! I thought there would be no getting past those

I have this amp (and parasound P3 preamp). Feeding with Transporter via
balanced cables. Very nice for my purposes ..

Yikes ! And they have scrapped thier entry level DMX series too :-/
The D200 amp have been sold for over an decade , no

With a single pair of mosfets !
GamuT they still exist :) maybe they should go on the list

I've been a very happy Simaudio owner for quite a few years so I'm a bit
partial to that manufacturer. Check their web site for detailed
information. Their Moon series integrated amps are very well reviewed
and recommended.

I'm not even sure Bryston's 100W integrated is up to the job, although

If you are happy with your preamp, it would be a no brainer for me to go
with one of the wyrd4sound amps, or sell your preamp and get their
integrated. W4S has reviewed very well and is very reasonably priced.
They use the ICE chip. Not sure how they stack up to the higher power
T-amps. Personally
I've got a similar front end as you...Touch & Rega DAC. Just this

hours and already I can say that it's magicabsolutely no comparison

Hello, I'd appreciate some perspective from forum members on what to
look for in new 2 channel amplification. I guess I am getting
