Yes, "very sad", but "Themis" is right, if only redbook was like this, I
feel I have 300 cd´s I no longer want to listen to.
Anyway, I converted one album to WAV, and well, I didnt do comparisons
yet, but a bit more volume (gain), and more kbps in the file is
obvious.
And, suddenly ITunes won

I just downloaded and listened to the free sampler album and the quality
was very impressive. I just used the 16 44.1 flac as I think that was
the highest choice that my sb3 can handle. Very good recordings.
Thanks for sharing that site and I'll have to learn more about

With Apple Lossless I have flac disabled, mp3 disabled and WAV as ALAC.
In AIFF I have AIFF Native, Flac is Flac and mp3 is disabled.
I see that in ITunes, when right clicking on a song you have the option
to "convert to WAV", but can this be done automatically for the whole
library?
I have down

I do the experience : sources in ALAC, streamed in WAV or FLAC,
digitaly recorded (SPDIF) at the coax digital output of the Duet

if you mean ALAC, then it is streamed as either mp3, Flac or WAV - sb
can't handle it natively.
Settings - advanced - file types
Silly question maybe, I have almost all music in Apple Lossless, can I
stream that in WAV?
Wanted to try and see if there is a difference...
