I had a look at importing a pair of A1000s myself last year. I'm not wholy sure, but I don't believe that they auto adjust for voltage. Note however that you do have another option, which is to buy from another country, such as Singapore. I found a dealer out there who'd sell me one at the same

I'm just in the process of getting a S300iu integrated from the US but the chap is also offering me a deal for 2 ref1000 mono's for my mate. AFAIA, the voltage on the integrated is auto-sensing so I can just plug it into 230V UK mains, does anyone know if that's the same for the monos as well?
