I would like to share my initial impressions as well.
But first of all I would like to thank Inguz for this amazing piece of
work! :-)
When using normal.drc from Inguz and flat.txt as a target curve, room
correction sounds very very bright (way too much treble so to speak)
Then I tried normal.d

Yes - Inguz adds a menu on the SB3 to enable or disable room
correction. You have to restart or change tracks for the change to take
effect.

A stupid question perhaps, but I'll try anyways.
Is there any computer hardware having those specialized floating point
DSPs, such as SHARC used in Behringer, that could take the relevant
part of the load out of PC's CPU?

Oh no! Setting "Off" should certainly work... I'll follow up separately
to try figure out what's broken.
The "quick fix" is to open the .settings.conf file (in
the application data Settings folder) with NotePad, and delete the line
that says "SignalGenerator Type=...".

Skunk,
I grabbed a bargain system earlier today which will be used for various
things (e.g. Photoshop, video editing etc). It'll also run slimserver,
but not often at the same time. As Inguz DRC seems to be fairly
processor hungry, I just wanted to make sure that the E4300 was up to

I noticed that the RSSPL.txt calibration file seems to start at 515Hz
and go up from there. Elsewhere, I found a calibration file for a RS
SPL that looks like it has calibration values from 7hz to 200hz.
However, it only has two values per line, not three. It looks like

Hugh,
Looks like Room Correction was on by default. I switched that one off.
Also, the flatness is set to 10, even though I dont see it in the EQ
menu. Still 2.6GHz Celeron does not seem to be enough CPU or it could
be the wireless. I will try to switch to my DuoCore Toshiba notebook

I haven't tried the RS SPL meter, but I think it should work - the sound
