Well I dont think I can improve much here with teh speakers I have (old
Celestions). They sound great but dont have so much detail ability but
its good to know there is room for improvement on the DAC. Maybe if I
see the P1000 on ebay one day, I can pick it up :)

No its just the standard one. The first thing I noticed is that the bass
has more impact, more authority. Also maybe its an illusion but the
sound stage is wider. Overall its not a giant difference, but going
back and forth on a few songs between the two DACs, I like the MSB
better.

Usually coax is better than optical, give them both a try with you new

Anyone play with this DAC before? I should hopefully get it in about 10
days. After much reading, seems this is a good dac for the $$. I paid
