Hmmm, these are not known in general to be buggy. So I'd say you're safe in buying one. I've had one about 6 months, running latest firmware and SbS 7.5 and it has been rock solid in my system. Bought new from Logitech. -- garym --

Thanks. My IR IN does not appear to work either. An IR emitter on the front of the unit(RTI RPI RR Processor, RTI T2C remote)works fine, but direct connect with a 3.5 mm cable into the IR In port on the back of the Transporter does not work. I am going to send this unit back. -- rrgmrg -

I had my Transporter for about a week when suddenly it became unresponsive. When I tried to power it up, nothing, except a mechanical click at a regular 5-10 second interval that sounded like a stuck relay. Tried hard reset procedure, no help. Attempted to power on several more times the next d
