Hmmm, these are not known in general to be buggy. So I'd say you're safe
in buying one. I've had one about 6 months, running latest firmware and
SbS 7.5 and it has been rock solid in my system. Bought new from
Logitech.

Thanks. My IR IN does not appear to work either. An IR emitter on the
front of the unit(RTI RPI RR Processor, RTI T2C remote)works fine, but
direct connect with a 3.5 mm cable into the IR In port on the back of
the Transporter does not work. I am going to send this unit back.
