I looked at the settings related to how FLAC is decoded and could not really understand it. At least now I have a general idea of what they do. It sounds like there is not much reason to change it but I will give it a try on PCM and see what happens. I do have the volume set to 100 fixed. Thanks

There shouldn't be any settings you NEED to change in the defaults. The only thing you may want to change is to set the volume to fixed 100% so the DAC gets the native file data and doesn't do any volume scaling. Sending FLAC to any squeezebox is the optimal setting for quality, compatibility, a
