ASIO support for SqueezePlay would be a terrific feature. I wonder if it would it cost Logitech anything (e.g. licensing fees from Steinberg etc)? -- NewBuyer NewBuyer's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?u

ASIO should certainly help with sync - the latency is both smaller and more predictable. -- radish radish's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=77 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showth

Here is the enhancement request mentioned above: http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=10483 I voted for this because I use SP a lot on the desktop, and if I get a card that can take advantage of ASIO it would be nice to have the feature available. Reading some past threads re: SoftSqueeze

I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for a dedicated sound card, as it's kind of the opposite of what they do here. That said I'd vote for an enhancement request that SqueezePlay become ASIO aware (even though I don't have a sound card that can avoid resampling to 48kHz, or know much about ASIO in ge

I don't think that's gonna happen. It contradicts the whole concept of getting the audio away from the computer. That's what the SBs and Transporter are all about. Also, Logitech is a hardware company that makes peripheral devices, not PC components. -s. -- slimpy ---

Fine, let's change my wishes : SqueezePlay that would be ASIO compatible + a dedicated (or not, but its just fair that Logitech has some credit for the work) Juli@ Soundcard (I2S out). For info, i've been using Foobar(Foobar + RME + Reymio DAC) with a dedicated web Interface, sound is not as High

Softsqueeze is deprecated - there will be no further development by development team. Development effort is being put into Squeezeplay as the supported soft player. -- bpa bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/memb

Hello, I'm curently using the SqueezeBox with external DAC, i'm also using A dedicated computer with CPlay/CMP (Audioasylum) with a RME Sound card and same DAC (Reymio). Second solution is much better, even better than Transporter + Reymio. However Squeezecenter is by far a nicer interface. So
