Thanks to all who took the time to reply to my post. Lots of food for

Thanks, the Kairn is what I've been thinking of to replace the LK1.

supply. I would want one with the phono inputs since I have a
turntable, but you recommend the line-only version? And I'll have to
check out the 5103 since I

No problem, I appreciate your reply. I am not a Rhapsody user, but I'll
see if I can find the same tracks elsewhere or maybe sign up for a free
trial of Rhapsody - I see there is a 30 day free trial so I'll probably
use this opportunity to check it out.

some feedback:) I had a quick listen to some tracks on

I have the VDA-2 and love it. It does sound better than the SB3's
internal DAC, regardless of what others might say.
Having said that, in your case I really would not bother. If you were
using lossless files that would be a different story (and that would
still depend on your ears and how picky
Did you have a look at the other recent dac-thread? If you're mostly
listening to internet radio at anything below the highest quality I'd
say don't bother. I don't know that dac, but some even claim that the
highly regarded Benchmark dac doesn't improve much on the stock SB3. So

I'm in the need of some advice! I've been running an SB3 for a little
over a year now and have been very pleased with it. It was, in fact,
the reason for my upgrading an aging system over the last year (see
current stats below). The primary use of the SB3 is as a source for
internet radio streams
Hi everyone,
I'm going to get a squeezebox 2 and am debating which of the following
will be a better solution:
1. The Bolder cable analogue sonicap platinum and silver bybees mods +
PSU, directly feeding 2 Musical fidelity A3.2cr power amps (no
pre-amp).
2. The Bolder digital mods with a silver
