Picked my Arcam Diva A85 amp today sweet!
Picking up my Dynaudio Audience 70 Floorstanders tomorrow. Will they be
a big improvment with this amp over my Mourdant Short 914i's ?

A good stand alone DAC will imporove your setup - the Sb3's dac is not
that good - lacks air and extension compared to something better.

Assuming you have a powerful enough server, have you considered the
inguz DRC plugin? http://inguzaudio.com/RoomCorrection/ might be what
you are looking for, and a lot cheaper if delivers what you are looking
for.

Impressed with general sound but want to improve. Would like better
vocals and more distinctive instruments.
Do i get a beresford 7510 DAC
Or a 2nd hand Arcam Diva A85 AMP

hmm equilizer? perhaps i should get an equilizer? turn up the bass a
bit? any advice on choosing one?
Also i have a seperate set of jbl s310 speakers, that are
floorstanders, that i paid about 300bux for 5 years ago, the mids and
highs are not so good, but the lows are nice how could i hook
You don't mention if the speakers are on stands. If not get a good pair
and see what difference that makes first.

Changing the source or the amp won't have any effect on the bass.
If you want more bass you need bigger speakers, a subwoofer, or
equalization.

I would say spend $300 - $500 on a subwoofer.
