Yes Mark, it does claim only 128kps, but check it out because the sound
quality and clarity really seems so much better. To me it is much better
than other services. Add a piece from Classical.com and the same piece
from another service to a playlist and compare for yourself and let me
know what

As far as sound quality , if you like classical or jazz, I recommend the
service called Classical.com. I find the fidelity to be cd quality and
the music selections unlimited. I have compared the sound with other
services an found that IMHO Classical.com is superior. I don't hear this

Mog looks really cool. Much cheaper than Rhapsody (~$50/year), high bit
rate streams, nice tool to listen to a single artist vs. a group of
similar artists. Will it stream at high bit rate to my SB?

Here's a a new pandora-like 'music on demand' service..
http://mog.com/promos/overview
Is anybody trying the new MOG All Access?? They say their stream makes
320 kbps. Not uninteresting at all. However it's not yet available in
Europe.

Rhapsody streams at 192k, the sound quality is very good. I recommend
them highly.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I wish Pandora would stream at 192 to my
SB. i would pay the $36/year. I really like to "customized" stations
like rhapsody and Pandora. Does anyone know if Slacker or any other of
the customizable stations stream high than 128?

Kim, you're right and I'm wrong. Bummer. Hopefully they will add it at
some point.

Are you sure? See http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=63653
I've been waiting for 192kbps support before subscribing to Pandora.

I went to your link. I can stream the 224 kb/s ogg with no problem. Do
I have to treat the url for flac differently?

Go to Shoutcast and use their search function and click on the
"broadband" button and you will see stations that are streaming at
reasonably high bitrates. Quite a few at 192kb or better but it all
depends on your taste in music :-)

Radio Paradise highly recommended. If you try it and don't like it,
check back a few times as the mix is so eclectic that any given sample
of an hour or two does not do the station justice.

Rhapsody streams at 192K but charges a fee. Whether you can tell a
difference depends on if you have golden ears. Radio Paridise streams at
192k and offers an eclectic mix. Do a Radiotime search on AVRO. It
streams multiple genres at bitrates up to 320K.

I've just starting using Pandora and love the way it streams tunes.
Needless to say it doesn't sound as good as CDs ripped using Apple
Lossless on my PC. I have a SB3 with a MHDT Paradesia+ dac.
Anyone know if other services sound better than Pandora?
Any way to improve the SQ of pandora.
