by design an RF generator! (erm...I think the Guy Who Writes Firmware

Ok, let's start off slow with the specification first and see if we can
agree on it before we go further.

In this mad world of an audiophile, nothing makes sense.
Since it doesn't make sense, this isn't an issue that can be discussed
and aligned upon. (we will just end up fighting :-)

I see your point.
Some time ago I thought the FW15 angle was worth a shot as most
tweakers are never satisfied with status-quo.
As I remember there was a difference in the sound but I could not na

Never tried 15. I have got no complains regarding version 81 that came
with 6.5.4.

You want to see the signal path BEFORE it gets onto a CD/vinyl...it
ain't what you'd call minimal...SB3+Stontronics PSU - Altmann
JISCO/UPCI - TACT RCS 2.2X with Good Vibrations S/W - MF X-DAC
V3/X-PSU/X-10 buffer (Audiocomm full mods)- Linn 5103 - L
Nevermind. I manage to update the firmware with v83 on v6.5.4.
