This begs a particular question from me in regards to the various tests.
I've researched a number of families I believe belong to me, but don't
have the definitive records to prove it, so DNA would be the only solution.

It's very common in England & UK families of an earlier period to
follow this practice. On some of my branches I even have three
children in the one family all named after their father and
grandfather (and uncle and gt. uncle and so on) each taking the place
of an elder sibling who died.

I suspect I'll see others I've "bumped into" before on Azorean
genealogical mailing lists, but I've been off them for awhile. But
now I'm heading that way, so thought I'd try and catch up with news on
the genealogical front in Faial etc.
