I am wanting to backup the config on tons of routers I have but they do not support rsync. They do support ssh and scp.I have found a script where on a normal nix box where it will run through a node list and retrieve the backups of each router (node). Is it possible to just do an scp to the router

I have a server that runs mysql in its own server folder on Centos
rather than the standard location of mysql. Another virtual server
runs mysql at its standard location. Anyway, is there a way to set
automysqlbackup to run the 1st mysql in the above?

remote server and schedule it to backup
the entire /var/backuppc/pc directory? If so and since it is remote,
is there a a wget to get backuppc to install up there?
Or is it better to schedule some kind of cron to rsync to the remote
on the /var/backuppc/pc directory?

So obviously doing it that way, backuppc user, does not work.
Can someone please tell me what the issue is? I have googled to death

I deleted the host and removed files from /var/backuppc/pc/HOST with
this host then re-entered the host info in backuppc. I still get the
same error.
I really need some help here. Anyone have any ideas?

Any clues where else I look?

There have been no changes to this server so I don't understand why it
would stop backing up. Anyone have a clue or pointers for things to
look at?

I tried it with the -p and without both -u and -p. Still nothing. If I
run the command on the host, it will do the dump.
Full backup etc do
Where is that stored? Reason I asked, I was reading over the archives

Increased the $Conf{XferLogLevel} to 3 and only get a fileListReceive

I have looked in every log I can find and do not see any errors until
I cancel the backup. I set up a test directory with backuppc as the
user and group on the test host.
I set the pool on the server to be in /var/backuppc, more room there.
Permissions etc same as above or what was show in /h
network but the actual transfer seems not to work.
Haven't looked far enough into that yet.
Anyway, will look into that and start a new thread if need.
thanks for the help to all on this one.
