If I don't have to be root or do a make install, why am I not able to get modules like Expat to install successfully, and why does their documentation tell me that's what I have to do? It seems like if there's another option, the pod docs or readme should tell me so. If there's another alternative it would be great to know what it was; can you please post a link to any help docs?
