I deal with manufacturers every day of all different types of products from
power tools to lights to high tension power towers, ect. I know it is
difficult these days but I try not to buy products made in China especially
if you are buying something that could be life threatening, DO NOT BUY IT

No problems - Safe and I don't worry about it falling down.

lifts in hopes of one day owning one. On other
internet forums, I have heard many folks caution

from China. They are cheaper, but are made with
inferior materials, welds, etc.

You probably can think of advantage/disadvantage with both ...
A 2 post would probably be less expensive to do wheel/suspension/brakes/etc.
because the 4 post (drive on) requires some kind of additional lift which (at
least one type) goes on the rails of the inside of the wheel channel/ramps...
