I posted in the past that I took hardtop doors and used the top surrounds from trashed El Camino doors back in 70 when I rebuilt a totaled 68 el camino. This was my first rebuild and the doors were not difficult to do.

I'm not sure on the 64-65 but yes fir sure on the 68-72. It just depends on if the top piece is solid (part of the whole door) or if the top piece unbolts plus if the bottom half on a 64-65 is the same length for both.
