Hi, I decided to deploy having both edge routers in AS1 eBGP peer with both edge routers in AS2 and iBGP between them locally as it gave greater redundancy and faster convergence. Physically I have two edge routers in AS1 and two edge routers in AS2, I had the opportunity to connect them any way

Hi, Hopefully a simple eBGP question: If I have 2 edge routers in an AS, and 2 edge routers in another AS is it best practices to have them in a square, or triangles? By this I mean AS1 has router 1 and router 2 (running iBGP between them), and AS 2 has the same. Is it best practice to have an

Hi, Hopefully a simple question... I currently have a primary and secondary aggregation (distribution) switches (6500s)with CSMs running in transparent mode. Multicast flows (PIM SM) pass through the CSMs just fine, but when I fail the primary CSM to secondary, unicast (icmp) fails over sub 3 sec
