You should log bugs for things which you need to do, but cannot. Please log

You can temporarily request to send apple events to specific apps --
but Apple has made it clear that they are doing us a favor with that
and that it won't last.

Really? I get how that kind of functionality has made Windoze such a security
hole forever, but there are so many Mac applications that depend on being able
to send AppleEvents, especially within a suite of applications (all from the
same vendor).
Is there no facility for doing this?
