In DMN 1.6, new value property is defined in the following types: date, date
and time, years and months duration, days and time duration. Here is the
definition:

This should work similarly as other properties that are defined for the
date, date and time, years and months duration and days and time duration
types. Those are defined as written in the screenshot in the Table 66: Specific
semantics of date, time, and duration properties.
Note:
please create unit-test specifically targeting, directly, the related types
