This may be an old topic, but it seems a classloading regression was
introduced between commons-digester-1.0 and later versions (including
the most recent).
In commons-digester-1.0, a class was loaded as follows:
Class clazz = null;
// Check to see if the context class loader is set,

I need one additional +1 vote in order to be able to proceed with the
release. ;-)
So far, I've already received +1s from Remy Maucherat and Patrick Luby.
Thanks,

When I did a "cvs import" for jakarta-commons/el, I accidentally also imported
the jakarta-commons/el/dist and jakarta-commons/el/target dirs which were created
after executing "ant dist".
I've tried to remove them from the repository, but keep getting this error message:

OK, I've set the list of initial committers to include the following names:
Shawn Bayern
Nathan Abramson
Pierre Delisle
Hans Bergsten
Justyna Horwat
Craig R. McClanahan
Jan Luehe
I've also removed jakarta-commons-el from 3.1.

Are there any objections?
Thanks,
