Although I'm not a Stephen, I'm also interested in contributing, if the project is open to non-Stephens ;^). I was looking at the generics branch of collections a few weeks ago, and added generics to a few more of the classes. I just submitted a Jira issue with these changes : https://is

Oh, ok. I do not have a say here, but this would be my preferred way. I think the general redesign of the standard Java Collection makes it necessary to rethink the commons collection idea from first principles. "What is missing in Java 5 Collections?" might be the guiding question. Oliver 2007

Hi Stephen (C)! Could you explain what your understanding of a 'reboot' is? As opposed to the port to generics? Anyway, from what I see in my daily work 1.5 really is widely distributed and safe to rely on. Commons Transaction 2.0 will certainly require it. Oliver 2007/3/11, Stephen Colebourne

Hi Stephen, I think there's merit in simply porting generics to the current Commons Collections 3.2 codebase, but I believe we could get better bang for our buck by discussing how we might reboot Commons Collections. I would suggest a moderately radical approach: 01. Removing all deprecated

OK Stephens (and anyone else!), I'm not in a position to just grant commit access (I wish I could, but thats not the Apache way). However, I am willing to review and apply patches to get generified collections off the ground. We already have a generics branch which is intended to be a 'reboot'
