I guess this doesn't matter for Karmic. It is too bad about the
incompatibility on 9.04, but I suppose it isn't worth the effort of

Does this still matter? Python 2.5 is not installed anymore on my karmic
system, apparently the last things that needed it went away and we only
have 2.6 now.
