For the time being, rather than use xorg-edgers, I'm sticking to a

I'm having the same problem with a 1280x1024 and 1920x1200 setup.
I've found that this also happens in reverse with the 1280x1024 screen
on the right. In this case the problem was on the 1280x1024 screen.
