As a stop gap measure, force a resync of the xserver window tree
structure and the corresponding internal structure in compiz. It's when
they get out of sync that cimpiz gets stuck and can't get itself out of
trouble.

So exactly what is wrong:
It seems to be nvidia's proprietary driver problem on 8*** cards when
using external monitor with large resolution (1920*1200). Compiz is very
slow to handle opened windows. Works fine without the external monitor
just at native notebook's resolution.

Probably I found a race condition for this bug:
* without doing any mouse action (aside from moving it to move focus)
the xrandr command will work fine and my desktop does behave as expected
(after running it).
* Even clicking into a terminal (to get focus) does trigger this bug,
e.g. after run
I get bit by this a lot, too. It seems to happen on ALT+TAB (default
switcher), SUPER+TAB (compiz ring switcher) and sometime just trying to
bring up the Unity sidebar with a mouse click on the Ubuntu symbol.
