It's not really a problem with the apps themselves, glxgears (which i don't consider a benchmarking tool btw) runs at ~60fps with the default (tiny) size. It's slow to *move* all windows. xterm, gedit, chromium, evolution, ... all show the same slow refresh when moved. It seems to be a window manag
