it didn't happen to me since i moved to gnome-shell on my desktops
(where i'm able to use everything with h/w acceleration enabled without
corrupting the display or freezing/slowing X)

Here, the leak while idle is far smaller than before the last upgrade, but the
leak in operation is far worse, even for small stuff like switching between two
empty workspaces.
I can't have an active session of more than 2 hours before compiz crashes
(somewhere in /usr/lib/nvidia-current/libnvid

It's not really a problem with the apps themselves, glxgears (which i
don't consider a benchmarking tool btw) runs at ~60fps with the default
(tiny) size. It's slow to *move* all windows. xterm, gedit, chromium,
evolution, ... all show the same slow refresh when moved. It seems to be
a window manag

I started from a webapp (GReader), i clicked on a link, it created a new window

tabs), not the one being focused.
If I close the browser, reboot, login, restart the browser, i see the ghost on
the focused tab. Some colors are transparent, and i see the flash applet behind.

Both in natty & oneiric, when I re-open chromium with a session containing a
page with flash, I get what looks like a shadow in the top left corner of the
screen, visible on all desktops. It's on top of all windows, half transparent,

I see it with the context menu in xchat, like when i want to open a link in my
browser (or copy that link to the buffer). Once the action is done, the menu
remains on screen until something else refreshes the screen.

Yesterday's compiz upgrade (1:0.9.4+bzr20110406-0ubuntu1) regressed in
chromium, leaving artifacts behind.
See the video attached. 100% reproducible in various pages with selectors. I'm
not sure it's limited to selectors or not though.
