The check "Key Bindings Toggle Scale Mode" makes no difference to me,
neither I need to press arrows. I have only bound the initiate on top
left/right corner and this is enough to trigger the bug. It starts the
animation, freezes for some seconds in the middle, and then completes.

I am kind a busy those days, not sure when will be able to test the live
session.
But something really bizarre just happened: I was working on Eclipse
(the latest), I had the editor window split horizontally in two with a
bunch of open files on each. When I tried to drag one editor from b
Canonical seems to be more commited about new features than quality and
stability, most annoyances are from compiz+unity.
