I have been looking for a way to turn on
sub-pixel hinting for the fonts on kdm and have not
been able to find a way to do so. Is this possible?

It seem that no matter what font setting I change the standard
font used by knoqueror in file management mode or when i'm
connected to a ftp site can't be changed. I have changed every
font setting I could find in all of Kde and nothing seems to cha

They seem a lot bigger than they need to be. Anyone

After updating from mdk9 to cooker the i8k buttons no longer work..
the module is loaded and the i8kbuttons daemon is running.. but nothing

Whenever I click on a http link within a e-mail it runs it in konqueror but it
runs it from the file in the cache on the hd, so the address bar reads
something like the following:
file:/home/salch/.kde/share/apps/kfmexec/tmp/4672.0.
and of course

after running for a while using Gaim with soundwrapper artsd seems to take
over the processor and eat more and more processor time

Every night Msec gives me the same list of changed files / modified files on
my system. I thought it would stop giving me that warning after the first
day the files were modified

After todays updates. Gaim's fonts changed.. the default fonts on all the
"non changeable" stuff in gaim. since it is a gtk app does that mean that
something with GTK actually was changed.. and i need to adjust it in gtk
somehow ?

If kxine runs off of xinelib and uses xine stuff.. then why when i run
kxine i can play quicktime files but when i run xine i can't.. xine tells
me there is no plugin avaliable for quicktime.. but kxine does it just fine
