I have a TNT2Ultra card, mdk 7.1, the latest XFree86 4.0.1 from cooker
and the latest 0.94 drivers from NVidia all working together.
I was tripped up in one area. I used the Source RPM to compile NVIDIA_kernel
and it all compiled fine but wouldnt run.

Has any one had any luck with getting a nvidia GeForce2 GTS working
under XFree86 4.01?
I have nvidia latest drivers (.94) and upgraded a clean install of 7.1
to XFree86 4.01 with the cooker rpms. The machine is running 2.2.16
(from 7.1 update rpm) with 128 meg of ram. After getting it up
I just attempted to install the cooker XFree86 4.01 server rpm on top of
a 7.1 distribution. The video card is
an ATI Rage Fury Maxx. Worked fine, with 4.0 (more or less anyway), but
I wanted to try 4.01 to get
vmware to work full screen. With 4.01, the server dies at startup.
