Also, it doesn't make sense that this would stop cron from executing
the jobs because it shouldn't be using the passwd file to authenticate.
It is suppose to run as SYSTEM.

Hello all,
I am installing Cygwin on a Win2K3 server and it absolutely refuses to
create a home directory under the Cygwin directory. All my other
installations have created a home directory under Cygwin.
This is creating problems with some scripts I wrote because the home is
in "Documents and

does it matter?
Any ideas? Need more info?

wasn't running awk from a DOS
prompt. I was running a bash shell script that was using the command.
It worked on my machine but didn't work on another.

I was curious if there was other window managers aside from the one
that is used on default in X? The window manager that is used on
default is okay but I sort of got use to Gnome and KDE in Linux.
