Elfyn,
I am probably just going to wait for 1.5.0 to be realized... then the
shit will really hit the fan and I will have a reason to devote some
time to testing.
Wait I am trying to say is that I am in the middle of moving into a new
apartment right now and my job is demanding my time as well
Hi,
Just wondering how you guys are going to deal with tests for 1.5.0 . I've been
keeping a list of packages submitted for testing thus far and didn't really
think about you XFree guys as you manage your own releases. :-)

I've followed the instruction in 'Cygwin/XFree86 User’s Guide' Harold L Hunt, II
It goes pretty well with the my first-time installation on a PC of win98. But as I
turned to win xp(chinese) and do exactly the same thing, exceptions rises as follows:

OK, I'm starting to feel like an ignoramus.
I tried reloading Cygwin the other day and as a first step, uninstalled
everything cygwin,
which included a KDE version.
After reinstalling cygwin, I no longer have a KDE for windows.
I've searched all over and perhaps I'm looking for the wrong thing?
Hi,
I got a bit further with this. I checked out the xc module and then checked
out the XFIXES_BRANCH on top of that. When compiling I now get an error
complaining about Xfixes.h missing:
gcc -c -O2 -fno-strength-reduce -Wall -Wpointer-arith -I.
-I../../../../exports/include/X11 -I..
/../.
Hello
I forward the file found on my machine at work where the
XF86Config file takes effect. But meanwhile starting xf86
with "startx" leads to a shutdown of the X-Server. Starting
manually with XWin etc works fine...
The other logfile follows.
best regards

Is this the test-91 version? The Stock 4.2.x release had no
support for the XF86Config file.

Hi,
When I try to download XFree from cvs I keep getting an error:
