I would see it as highly optimistic to expect darktable to provide
compatible output mesh with each and every raw processor that one can
name. Riding with one foot on each of two horses is better left to the
circus performer.

Can DT2.6 read the XMPs produced by Digikam?
and then what happens when DT writes the edits and it's tags to
the XMP? Will it be ok with Digikam?
Or is there a way of change the XMP naming scheme to filename.cr2 and
DT producing filename.xmp?
Or?

Just a quick note to all the developers of Darktable - Many thanks to
all who have worked so hard to produce such a great and competent photo
application. Your efforts are very much appreciated.

Hmmm, can't find the place on the redmin page where to post a feature
request. How do I do this? 🙄

Me too :) Already asked this a few weeks ago. William then replied about
his coding this feature, so it would be a good idea to submit this as a
feature request. I will do this and then others can reply to that
request with a 'yes I want this too!' kind of reply ;).

I would find this a useful addition ... I find myself spending too much
time deleting (off) modules and duplicates.

Never knew about this 'trick'. Thanks very much, because I too had many
difficulties with the font size, therefor making lots or errors when
adding metadata. I've now set it to 120, although 108 was also pretty
decent.

I coded this up awhile ago for 2.4.x. I submitted a PR and it was
rejected. If you submit a feature request at
https://redmine.darktable.org/issues/ and enough people get on board, I can
dust the code off and make it work with 2.6.x and resubmit it.

Hello,
it would be very useful (IMHO) to have the "compress history" action in
lightable too in the history stack section.
Thanks for the great software!

Hi,
there have been sporadic reports of this issue before. As a quick fix
you can go into ~/.config/darktable/darktablerc and manually delete all
lines starting with "plugins/lighttable/collect/".
When you start darktable again you once again see all your images but
now you should be able to
