This is to announce the tree sign-ups for: Olympiahalle, Munich 9/14/74
3 CDs: MAR > CD. This audience tape was mastered by Gerhard Schinzel from mid-floor using a Philips mic and a Telefunken reel deck. The reel masters were transferred to CD by Uli Teute and were re-mastered by Dave Greenberg. The beginning of the reel containing WRS is now damaged and unplayable. This portion -- the first 1:20 or so of WRS -- is supplied from a safety cassette (MAR > C > CD). Uli Teute did this patch. Dave Greenberg says that this master has "NO low end". That isn't really true, however. With an equalizer or the Loudness button on your amp or pre-amp or both, Phil can be made quite decently audible. Other than that, this is quite a decent AUD master, which is a good thing since it seems to be the only one in existence and certainly the only tape circulating. SHN conversion by Jay Gerland. The layout is as follows Disc #1 65:20: Set One, part one Bertha Me And My Uncle Deal Jack Straw Scarlet Begonias Promised Land Loser El Paso Row Jimmy Disc #2 69:55: Set One, part two Weather Report Suite Prelude > Weather Report Suite Part 1 > Let It Grow Tennessee Jed Around And Around Interlude:: Seastones (Phil & Ned) Set Two, part one Big River Sugaree Mexicali Blues Disc #3 79:53 Set Two, part two Mississippi Half-Step Uptown Toodleloo It Must Have Been The Roses Truckin' > Mind Left Body jam > Wharf Rat > Sugar Magnolia Encore Eyes Of The World > One More Saturday Night U.S. Blues There will be both audio and SHN discs available.
