Bug#1108437: esorex: autopkgtest depends on removed package cpl-plugin-amber
Hi Paul, that was an unexpected side effect of the removal of all pipelines. And since none of this were left in Debian, I am afraid that there is no simple fix except making the autopkgtest superficially trivial. The real solution would be to somehow create a minimal pipeline (or recipe) on-the-fly or as an extra package and use that for the test; but that is not a quick solution, and I support moving this to after the Trixie release, keeping the package in Trixie. Bug#1108437: esorex: autopkgtest depends on removed package cpl-plugin-amber
Source: esorex Version: 3.13.7+ds-1 Severity: serious Tags: trixie-ignore Hi, I happened to run into the fact that the autopkgtest of src:esorex fails in unstable and testing. It fails because one of the test dependencies has been removed in 2024. Failing tests on amd64 and arm64 are considered RC [1]. With my Release Team member hat on I have tagged this as trixie-ignore as it's so late in the freeze and it's not worth removing the package from trixie because of this at this moment. Having said that, if a fix is possible without fully removing the autopkgtest and without making the test superficial, it's still welcome, but it would need to happen soon.
