For the record: My last minute QA upload has created some confusion in the branches, so I've renamed the above repository to "thermald-bad" (to be removed soon) and created again from scratch, this time without any mistakes. This is mainly for Bi Lin, who might have already cloned the old repo, so please clone again if you did it before. I apologize for the inconvenience, and I promise not to do this again... (The package is already uploaded and Lucas is now the maintainer. Congratulations!) Thanks.

Ok, I pushed the "fork" button and created a fork in the debian namespace. Then I made you maintainer for the project. https://salsa.debian.org/debian/intel-lpmd If this is going to be the new home for the git repo, your next upload should probably add the Vcs fields so that it points here. (After that, you can remove the "fork" relation so that this repo is considered to be the reference. You might want to do the fork in reverse so that you can do experiments with Salsa CI in your personal namespace). Thanks.

Maybe what you want is that I push the "fork" button so that the project lives in the "debian" namespace instead of your personal namespace? Thanks.

Awesome, thank you so much! Hi Santiago, could you also help create a one for intel-lpmd? I just uploaded 0.1.0 to unstable. https://salsa.debian.org/binli/intel-lpmd On Mon, Dec 22, 2025 at 5:34 PM Santiago Vila wrote: > > Hello. > > I've done a last QA upload (2.5.9-4), created a salsa repo with > history back to package creation, and offered Lucas to be his sponsor > for the next upload in Bug #1123748. > > The salsa repo with full history is available here: > > https://salsa.debian.org/debian/thermald/ > > Thanks.

Hello. I've done a last QA upload (2.5.9-4), created a salsa repo with history back to package creation, and offered Lucas to be his sponsor for the next upload in Bug #1123748. The salsa repo with full history is available here: https://salsa.debian.org/debian/thermald/ Thanks.

I just asked the maintainer to check if he could remove the tar file. https://github.com/intel/thermal_daemon/issues/504 On Mon, Dec 22, 2025 at 2:12 PM Bin Li wrote: > > On Mon, Dec 22, 2025 at 2:02 PM Lucas Castro wrote: > > > > > > Em 22/12/2025 02:53, Bin Li escreveu: > > > On Mon, Dec 22, 2025 at 1:45 PM Lucas Castro > > > wrote: > > >> Hi Bin, > > >> > > >> Em 10/12/2025 07:33, Bin Li escreveu: > > >>> Hi Lucas, > > >>> Thanks for uploading the new version. If so, would you be open to co-maintainership? We currently need version 2.15.10 to support PTL platforms — would you be able to upload it? I was going to run the software and browsing into source code before taking over it, But I can updated it beforehand. I’d be happy to help with maintenance or the upload if you don’t have time.
