Agreed. Can you try installing libvirt 11.6.0-1 from experimental and
see whether the issue still reproduces? Alternatively, 11.7.0-1
should come to unstable in a week or so. Since there's a non-zero
chance that the issue has already been identified and addressed
upstream, I'm not too eager to start debugging this very second :)

11.7.0-1 is available from unstable and testing now. Can you please
verify wether the issue still shows up there?

The issues does also not manifest itself anymore with 11.7.0-1.

Kind regards,
David

You're not alone with the original segfault though: see

FWIW.

Thanks,

Reassigning this bug to libvirt.  Unfortunately there's no indication
which version of libvirt you're using, hopefully it's the one in sid?

Thanks, I am using 11.3.0-3+b1 of libvirt-daemon.

This looks odd: there is no 11.3.0-3+b1 in Debian. Have you rebuilt
libvirt locally? Perhaps including custom changes?

I checked tracker.debian.org and couldn't find any mention of it, but
of course you're right:

  libvirt (11.3.0-3+b1) sid; urgency=low, binary-only=yes
  .
* Binary-only non-maintainer upload for amd64; no source changes.
* Rebuild against libxml2-16
  .
   -- amd64 / i386 Build Daemon (x86-ubc-01)

So that explains the oddity. The rest of my message still applies.

It's what we have in trixie - libvirt-daemon version 11.3.0-3+b1,
see libvirt package tracking page :)
