Bug#1118271: transition: opencascade
Hi, Thanks Adrian for looking into it. I'll remove the blobfish patches and do a test-upload to debusine. -- tobi On Tue, Dec 02, 2025 at 02:06:09PM +0200, Adrian Bunk wrote: > Control: reassign 1121362 src:opencascade 7.9.2+dfsg-1 > Control: reassign 1121738 src:opencascade 7.9.2+dfsg-1 > Control: notforwarded 1121738 > Control: unblock 1121362 by 1118271 > Control: tags 1121738 ftbfs > Control: forcemerge 1121738 1121362 > Control: affects 1121738 src:freecad src:feenox > > On Tue, Dec 02, 2025 at 10:03:48AM +0100, Emilio Pozuelo Monfort wrote: > > On 19/11/2025 11:05, Emilio Pozuelo Monfort wrote: > > > On 15/11/2025 14:25, Tobias Frost wrote: > > > > On Mon, Nov 10, 2025 at 09:02:34AM +0100, Emilio Pozuelo Monfort wrote: > > > > > Control: tags -1 confirmed > > > > > > > > > > On 07/11/2025 21:07, Tobias Frost wrote: > > > > > > Control: tags -1 -moreinfo > > > > > > > > > > > > > Yes, let's wait for vtk9 to migrate to testing. Bug#1118271: transition: opencascade
Hi Drew, On 02/12/2025 14:42, Drew Parsons wrote: Package: release.debian.org Followup-For: Bug #1118271 Control: affects 1118271 - src:petsc Control: unblock 1121012 by 1118271 feenox is still continuing to not build, still showing red at https://release.debian.org/transitions/html/auto-petsc.html for now. But in the end petsc has been able to migrate successfully to testing, since feenox doesn't have debci tests that might otherwise fail in testing. The problem is only with fresh feenox builds (in unstable). In that sense Bug#1118271 is not actually blocking the petsc transition of Bug#1121012, so I'm removing the block (and affects). feenox is blocking the removal of the old hypre/petsc/slepc/superlu-dist packages from testing (see the end of [1]). So in a way, that issue (whether a regression in opencascade or not) is affecting those transitions. Cheers, Emilio [1] https://release.debian.org/britney/update_output.txt

As usually, this required a transition. The transition tracker [1] correctly picked it up already after the upload to experimental. [1] https://release.debian.org/transitions/html/auto-opencascade.html Reverse-Dependencies are all fine, I've rebuilt them locally: Level 2: f3d - ok freecad - ok horizon-eda - unrelated FTBFS, NMU pending, #1116331 after NMU: ok kicad - ok librepcb- sid only, FTBFS with CMake4 (currently preparing a NMU for it) with fix: ok mayo- ok netgen - ok slic3r-prusa- ok Level 3: gmsh- ok Level 4: deal.ii - ok -- tobi
