Yes quite probably.

I upgraded against (to 2.45.50.20251125-1+12.1+b1) and it seem to work 
correctly.

(Sorry I was a bit confused by binutils-mingw-w64-i686 versioning scheme).

I checked with 2.44-3+12+b1 too, and that works correctly (can you confirm?),
