Thanks for breaking this package up into one package per extension, I'm
glad the DFSG team allowed you to make that change.

Instead of removing gnome-shell-extensions-extras immediately, perhaps
it would make sense to turn it into an empty transitional package with
Depends or Recommends on all the extensions that it used to contain (or
at least the ones that are still available for GNOME Shell 50), keep
that transitional package until after forky is released, and then remove
it? That would give users a smooth upgrade path from trixie.

Any bugs in gnome-shell-extensions-extras that have been fixed in the
individual extensions could be closed in the same upload of
gnome-shell-extensions-extras that converts it into an empty
transitional package.

Hi,

gnome-shell-extensions-extras is being retired in favour of individual
packages of each extensions, so I've uploaded them individually like
initial done in 2023 (6 packages, currently in NEW).

The past two debian releases have show that it's not sustainable to
maintain (#1030683) a few gnome-shell-extensions like that and moving
*all* gnome-shell-extensions into one source package seems not sensical
either.

Once they leave NEW, I'll ask for the removal of
gnome-shell-extensions-extras.

Regards,
Daniel
