This has nothing to do with NetBIOS transport. The bug has been confirmed as only applying to the Debian security updates, not to upstream's 3.0.27a release. Unfortunately, upstream didn't provide a blessed patch for distros in need of a backport, and it looks like one of the relevant changes was missed.
