I get another problems using gcc 3.3, with a kernel 2.4.20 :

The current version of g++ on the arm buildd ICEs when it attempts to
build kdebase 3.1.2. I am not certain of the version being used but
reportbug seemed to think it was 3.2.3 probably from checking this local
system, (I think it might be 3.3)
