Actually, yes, because I split the Alpha bug off into its own bug, and
even the Alpha bug shouldn't be grave

If I understand correctly, this bug only applies to m68k, non-release
architecture, so I'm downgrading to important.

We get the following ICE on m68k with gcc 4.1. I checked today's SVN and 4.1
fails while 4.2 works.
(sid)34:[EMAIL PROTECTED]: ~] /usr/local/bin/m68k-linux-gnu-gcc-4.1.2 -c -O
kdelibs-slaveinterface.cpp
kdelibs-slaveinterface.cpp: In function âQDataStream&
operator<<(QDataStream&, const KIO::UD
Package: gcc-4.1
Version: 4.1.1-9
I've been looking at the perl testsuite failure on hppa. See
http://bugs.debian.org/374396
This code:
while (cdouble < 0.0)
cdouble += adouble;
Generated by gcc-4.1 with -O2 and -fdelayed-branch gives:
fadd,dbl %fr13,%fr22,%fr13

The Alpha problem happens with 4.1 and 4.2 but not with 4.0.

This has been fixed already, both in GCC's SVN and in Debian's gcc-4.1 package.
The reason you see it on HPPA is that recent version of gcc-4.1 in Debian don't
build. This bug was fixed in -9 but hppa still has -8. Ca

that was the hint needed. I had some empty .java files still laying
around :-/
