Package: gcj-4.2 Version: 4.2.2-3 Severity: important Since gcc 4.2.0, gcj incorporated native support for linking to a static libgcj (via the -static-libgcj option, as explained in http://gcc.gnu.org/wiki/Statically%20linking%20libgcj ). The thing is that the static libgcj is nowhere in debian.
