The new monotone package (0.43-1) has built successfully on ia64 including execution of the code that was crashing before, so I suspect this was fixed, probably by a compiler upgrade. I'll close these bugs if the next upload succeeds too (wanting to make sure it's not a fluke). zw -- To UNSUB

Package: libmudflap0-4.3-dev Version: 4.3.2-1.1 Severity: normal If you give from as NULL in an argument to recv from (e.g. nbytes = recvfrom(sock, buffer, sizeof(buffer), 0, NULL, NULL);) you get a segfault. But it's quite legal to set from to 0, and hence fromlen to 0 in calls to recvfrom() --
